EHS CONSULTANCY SERVICES

Our consultancy services include the following:

  • Preparation of EH & Safety (Environment, Health & Safety) Manual and Deployment as per EH & Safety Plan as per the international norms and standards.
  • Provision of our services for conduct of EH & Safety Awareness Programmes, supply of posters and handouts.
  • Safety Documentation, Conduct of EH & Safety Audit and preparation of EH & Safety Reports including inspection of Accident site and generation of reports/recommendations
  • Monitoring of Health and Environmental Standards.
  • Risk assessment and Hazard Analysis. Modern occupational safety and health legislation usually demands that a risk assessment and Hazard Analysis be carried out prior to making an intervention. It should be kept in mind that risk management requires risk to be managed to a level which is as low as is reasonably practical.

This assessment would:

  • Identify the hazards
  • Identify all affected by the hazard and how
  • Evaluate the risk
  • Identify and prioritise appropriate control measures

The assessment would be recorded and reviewed periodically and whenever there is a significant change to work practices. The assessment would include practical recommendations to control the risk. Once recommended controls are implemented, the risk would be re-calculated to determine if it has been lowered to an acceptable level. Generally speaking, newly introduced controls would lower risk by one level, i.e. from high to medium or from medium to low.

The process of collecting and evaluating information on hazards associated with the item under consideration to decide which are significant and must be addressed in the plan.

Consultancy Projects on Highway Safety Enhancement
India's Road Safety Accident statistics reveals some startling facts:

  • Our safety track record is 10 to 15 times worse than developed countries.
  • While road fatalities are on the decline in other developing countries, in India these are continuously on the increase.
  • Analysis of crash patterns reveals that 90 to 95% fatalities are suffered by Vulnerable Road Users and Non-Motorised Transport.
  • The traffic on Highways passing through built up areas is mixed and pedestrians, cyclists, animals and tractors constitute the bulk of traffic which are more vulnerable to heavy and fast moving traffic.
  • There is virtually no enforcement of road traffic rules and regulations along the Highways.
We undertake consultancy projects especially in Highway Sector aimed at bringing about improvements in safety standards by way of low-cost enhancement measures.
